I worked as a senior consultant and coordinator in three international projects focused on promoting ICT start-ups in the EU and connecting them with VC investors. Responsibile for the Czech Republic, and Central and Eastern Europe.

Three times I was invited to a weekly evaluation of ICT project proposals in the field of research and development applying for funding from the Framework Programmes and Horizon schemes.

I built and led the Electronic Commerce module for the MBA studies at the Faculty of Business and Management, Brno University of Technology. I have been teaching the MBA modules Meeting Customer Needs and Information Management for several years and evaluated dozens of dissertations.

As an external consultant, I participated in information strategy development including data & process models for Jihočeská energetika a.s., Pražská energetika a.s., Teza Brno a.s. and others.

I conducted a series of guided interviews with supervisors of graduate and doctoral theses at the Faculty of Informatics and also with representatives of ICT companies and spin-offs involved in order to share best practices. Similar cooperation with the Department of Information and Library Studies of the Faculty of Arts.

I am one of the initiators of the International House and the author of the Brno Expat Centre project. I was invited to be a member of a working group for innovation and competitiveness within building the City Economic Development concept.

Mentoring for start-up contests, for example 100-Days Challenge.

I assisted a Swiss company in the selection of key individuals for interviews & data collection used for a comparative study of the innovation environment between Brno and Barcelona, Manchester and Malmo / Oresund.

As a member of a working group for the Regional Innovation Strategy of South Moravia, I assisted the birth of the South Moravian Innovation Centre and managed organising of the first Czech innovators’ conference – Gate2Growth (part of an international network).

Member of an external consulting team developing the company’s strategy or its parts.

I coordinated two international research projects in the field of Electronic Commerce for the department where I worked as a scientific secretary for several years. I was a member of the programme committee of an international conference of the same name held annually in Bled, Slovenia. For several years I supervised theses in the field of Economics and Management.

Co-translator of the user manual for the GUI Guidelines and the System Engineer CASE tool.
